Tara Reid is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the films The Big Lebowski (1998), American Pie (1999), American Pie 2 (2001), National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), My Boss's Daughter (2003), and Alone in the Dark (2005).On New Year's Eve 2006, at a large celebration in Chicago, Reid made several numerical errors in hosting the minute-long countdown for the year. A video of the incident circled the Internet.Reports surfaced in October 2007 that she had been hospitalised at the Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center as a result of alcohol abuse. Reid has denied the reports, insisting, "I'm fine." Reid shocked people by her thinner appearance in November and December 2007.
