R&B Artists Are Changing It Up To A Techno-Vibe

Has anyone else noticed this? I mean it's always been kind of moving into this direction since Timbaland became more and more popular with the Pop Artists. It's even more recently after Timbaland released his album 'Shock Value,' where a lot of his singles would be played at a more club party scene. It seems it's open a gate now we have a lot of artists out there that you're not familiar hearing this kind of sound from them like Rihanna with 'Please Don't Stop The Music' to Chris Brown's 'Forever' and Ne-Yo's 'Closer' even Kanye West with his sampling from Daft Punk's 'Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.'

I don't mind it at all, I guess it's like an evolution of this genre of music, I appreciate this kind of sound way more than what's coming from the South such as 'Lil Wayne or the shit music Soulja Boy is coming out with... I swear there doesn't seem to be any kind of effort when they write or produce their songs. It's like one main beat and a the catchy 2 lines of the songs that's repeated all throughout the song, oh and it'll be way over played if they have some kind of steps to it... Soulja Boy that 'Crank That' song is just as bad as the Macarena.
